Choral Teaching Artist

Walker J. Jackson has over 10 years of professional choral experience, having sung with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, The Mostly Mozart Festival, the Caramoor Center for Music and Arts, Cincinnati Opera, Opera Cleveland, and the Cleveland Orchestra.  He brings this experience to direct and lead several choral groups throughout New York City.

As a conductor and pianist, Walker Jackson arranges and composes new music for young vocal ensembles, while specializing in training the young and changing adolescent voice.

Walker J. Jackson holds a Master of Music in Music Theory, with a minor concentration in Choral Conducting from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.  He also holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where his pedagogy research dealt with training the adolescent voice.
